OBJECTIVE 1:
INCREASE PRE-EMPLOYMENT SERVICE
IMPACT & EFFICIENCY
In our last strategic plan, we set out to increase programmatic capacity to serve more people. Over the last five years, the number of people we have served has tripled, including those on the pre-employment track, those served by our mobile outreach van, and our number of engaged volunteers.
In 2024, 96% of Ve’ahavta’s pre-employment program participants achieved a positive outcome.
Over the next three years, we will restructure our service delivery format to make it more cost-effective while maintaining high standards of quality. This change will consist in taking an individualized approach, focusing on the client’s unique personal and professional goals, rather than enrolling into a prescribed program.
Structured for scalability at the lowest cost, our virtual pre-employment services are fertile ground for capacity growth to meet the ever-growing demand. Our overall capacity has grown by 200% since 2020, but our demand for services has continued to grow by over 400%.
Our target is to increase the number of available seats for our virtual pre-employment service offering from 300 to 660 – a 120% increase – in both Toronto and Ottawa.
At the same time, we will focus on the development of key partnerships with social service agencies and the mobilization of the Ottawa Jewish community, to pave the way for continued expansion in our second city.
